Today is March 5/2012 the worm population has a slight increase and the cocoons should be hatching out anytime now as the warmer[i hope] weather approaches. The population needs to be doubled so i can split it for the summer outdoor bin. It is at around 50-75+ Right now so 100-150 should be fine. They have around 3 inches of compost and around 9 or so inches left so they are in no need for a harvest until later on. I should hopefully be able to harvest right before i setup my outdoor worm bin for 2012. The colony is only a few months into the year and already they have been improving since 2011. I have high hopes for this colony.
